Packing List

Here, we have made the complete packing list for trekking and climbing in the Himalayas. You can take these lists as a reference and pack yourself based on your travel habits and experience. At the same time, efficient packing is essential for minimizing the load on flights. 
Packing list for trekking in Himalayas of Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan:

Head and Hand Gear

Sun Hat: Any lightweight hat with a good brim or visor.

Wool or fleece Hat: Hat of any brand but should cover ears.

Balaclava: Should be thick enough to worn alone or fit underneath the wool or fleece hat.

Liner gloves: Any brand which is lightweight and synthetic.

Wind Stopper fleece glover: Any brand

Footwear

Running shoes: Great for traveling.

Hiking Boots: Warm Boots should fill well over light and heavy sock combinations. Rather than the brand focus on fit. (Merrill, Asolo, Scarpa, La Sportiva).

Gaiters: Best gaiters are short and simple.

Sport Sandals: Useful in lodges during evenings.

Lightweight socks: Few pairs of lightweight socks of brands such as Bridgedale, Smart wool, fox river, and wigwam. 

Heavy Socks: Few pairs of heavy shocks of brands such as Bridge dale, Smart wool, Fox River and wigwam.

Clothing

Lightweight long underwear top/bottom: Brands like Patagonia-Capilene, Mountain Equipment, and REI are good.

Mid-weight long underwear top/Bottom: Zip T-neck designs are preferred more. (North Face, Patagonia, Mountain Hardware)

Briefs: Few pairs of cotton or synthetic briefs. 

Short-sleeved shirts: Few pairs of synthetic shirts. Nylon running shirts and athletic shirts are also fine. Vapor wicking capabilities of the shirt material is the most. 

Pair of Long-sleeve shirts

Lightweight windproof fleece (for daytime trekking)

Jacket Synthetic or Fleece: Synthetic jackets and pullovers work as an alternate to fleece because of their lighter and compressible quality. Polartec or Prim aloft type fill 100 and 200 fleeces are recommended. (Patagonia Puff Jacket, Wild Things Paramaloft).

Synthetic Insulated Pants: Polarguard or Primaloft 3D. It is recommended to have full side zips. Some of the examples of brands are Mountain Hardwear, Chugach 3D.

Down insulted Jacket: A jacket filled with down with a hood and medium in weight. The hood is optional but it is very useful. 

Waterproof Breathable Jacket and Pants: It is recommended to have a jacket with hood and pants with full-length side zips. (Marmot, Mountain Equipment Co-op, Arc' Teryx).

Accessories

Sunglasses: For lower elevations, a pair of high quality 100% UV and 100% IR sunglasses. Some spare pair of sunglasses is very important. 

Headlamp w/ Spare Bulb: Running with the power of AA and AAA battery. 

Spare Batteries: Very useful in guest houses and tents at night.

Extras

Backpack: 20L-40L or more as per your requirement. It must have an internal frame. The best one is the top opening of the mountaineer's rucksack style.

Pack Cover: It will protect your gears from rain and snow. 

Sleeping Bag: Minimum 10F to a maximum -10F and down 700 fill minimum is recommended (Mountain Hardware and Marmot).

Water Bottles: Leak-proof wide-mouth water bottles of 1-2 liter is best (Lexan or Nalgene type bottle).

Pee Bottles: It is optional.

Trekking Poles: It is better to have adjustable poles for the convenience of packing and is useful in uphill and downhill trails. 

Swiss Army Knife: Remember not to carry in luggage bags while traveling in any international or domestic flight. 

Medical & Personal

Sunscreen: Sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. (Terrapin or Dermatone)

Lips cream: Any brand with SPF 30 or higher.

Toiletry Kit: Toothpaste, toothbrush, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, skin lotion, comb/brush, soap, shaving kit.

First-aid Kit: Assorted Band-Aids, Ibuprofen/Aspirin, moleskin, small gauze pad, Neosporin-type suave, tweezers, a roll of adhesive tape, safety pins. Carry all the medicines prescribed by your doctor. 

Large Trash Compactor Bags: Very useful for waterproofing your items inside your bag.
Baby wipes

Earplugs: Can be used while sleeping in tents and lodges.

Water Purification Tablets: Tablets like Potable Aqua brand iodine. Our company will provide you plenty of purified water in your trek, but backup purification tablets are a good idea. 

Travel

Trek/Expedition Duffel Bag: Large size which has strong zippers. (North Face, wild things, etc)

Small Travel Bag: It can also be used as a second duffel bag to store travel clothes and personal items at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Nylon Stuff Sacks: Recommended to carry two to three for organizing your gears and clothes.

Clothes for Travel: Comfortable simple travel clothes. 

Work-out clothes and Bathing Suit: Versatile and simple and can be used while staying in hotels.

Passport Belt/Pouch

Small Padlocks: Can be used for locking duffel bags.

Books

Journal

Camera: Digital or film camera. It is recommended to carry plenty of extra batteries and memory cards for the digital camera. If you use rechargeable batteries, power will be available in most of the lodges in the trek. 

Film

For Climbing

Ice Axe, Harness, Crampons, 2x Tape slings, Descender/Abseil Device, 2x screw gate, karabiners, Prussic Loops, and Plastic Mountaineering Boots.

Mittens w/pile liners: Especially for peak climbing and expeditions
