The Trek offers the most fascinating views of the world's highest peaks, including Mt. Everest (8848 m), Lhotse (8516 m), Makalu (8585 m), Cho-Oyu (8201 m). Day 1 Arrival day in Kathmandu-1,350 m

Our representative will welcome you upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. After you get refreshed, there will be a welcome dinner in the evening where you will meet your trek guide and discuss the trip.

Day 2 Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation Day-1,350 m

It is a day for the Kathmandu city tour. After having breakfast in the hotel, we head towards the world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. First, we visit the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath. You can see saddhus and cremating bodies on the bank of Bagmati, Holy River. After exploring the surrounding, we move towards Boudhanath, another pilgrimage center for Buddhists. We take our lunch in Boudha and drive to Swayambhunath, also known as the monkey temple. And the final destination of the day will be Kathmandu Durbar Square to get a close view of the history and culture of ancient Nepal.

Day Kathmandu to Samari Bhanjyang(1250 m.) via Trishuli Bazaar (540 m.)

We leave Kathmandu early in the morning for a drive to Samari Banjyang. You will pass through the Trisuli Bazaar, a small but interesting traditional market that is used to be the hub of trekking in this region. The road becomes rough from Trisuli as we drive towards Samari Bhanjyang with the beautiful scenery of small gorges, green hills, and rice terraces. We check into the lodge and explore the place in leisure time.

Day 4 Samari Bhanjyang to Katunje Bazaar (765 m.)

Begin the trek along the gradual descent path and the ascent before traveling on farmland to reach our destination. You will be passing through several villages, a forest of pine and rhododendron, small streams, farming terraces, and numerous green hills. After walking for about six and a half hours, we reach Katunje Bazaar, which has a small market and offers the first glimpse of Ganesh Himal.

Day 5 Katunje Bazaar to Kintang Phedi (655 m.)

After having breakfast, we follow the trail that descends towards Lapsang Besi. Then we walk along the river bank until you reach Kintang Phedi. Today's trail passes through several traditional villages, fishing spots, beautiful green hills, and farming terraces. Kintang Phedi lies at the bank of Ankhu Khola. You will find a few typical houses, a few small shops, and terraces where local people grow their food grains. 

Day 6 Kintang Phedi to Jharlang (1500 m.)

About six hours of the trek on the gradual ascent path through farming terraces, several villages and green hills take us to Jharlang. You can have a closer look at Tamang, Brahmin, and Chettri community in these villages. Millet, maize, rice, wheat, and green vegetables are the staple food of the people living in these areas. Jharlang is a Tamang village with numerous typical houses.

Day 7 Jharlang to Chalise (2000 m.)

Initially, the trail ascends and later leveled while moving towards Chalise from Jharlang. The duration of today's trek is about six hours. You will pass through Borang, Shertum, and Tamang villages. In these Tamang villages, there are schools, health posts, and mani walls. Farming is the main occupation of the people living in these areas.

Day 8 Trek from Chalise to Hindung

We start our trek on the trail that descends to Menchet Khola and then walk steep up after crossing the stream. Finally, a gradual uphill trek leads us to the village of Hindung. Five hours is the estimated period for today's trek. Hindung is a big village mostly inhabited by Tamang people. Farming is the main occupation of the people in this place, and they grow millet, barley, maize, bean, and other vegetables. You can see mani walls and prayers flags in many places in these villages. This is the last village you pass while trekking to Ganesh Himal Base Camp.

Day 9 Hindung to Rajgang Kharka

You rarely see any terraces after you leave Hindung. We will trek on the ascending as well as a flat trail to Rajgang Kharka. You will pass through the forest of rhododendron and local vegetation. Various species of birds and wild animals inhabited these forests. There are grasslands in Rajgang Kharka, and except winter season, the local people bring domestic animal like sheep for grazing here.

Day 10 Rajgang Kharka to Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake)

The trek to Kalo Seto Kund mostly follows the narrow tail that moves uphill and leveled somewhere. We will be walking along the path through the forest for a few hours, and towards the ending, you will rarely find any trees on your way. Hiking for about six hours, you will reach Kalo Seto Kunda. There are two lakes at Kalo Seto Kunda with holy significance. The surface of Kalo (Black) Kunda is covered with black stones, whereas the surface of Seto (White) Kunda is covered with white shinning stones. These lakes are frozen during the winter season.

Day 11 Resting day at the Base Camp.

Today is the rest day at the Ganes Himal base camp. Take some pictures and enjoy the free day exploring the surroundings of the base camp. You can hike in and around Kalo Seto Kunda, where you can get majestic views of Paldor Himal, Ganesh Himal, and several other Himalayas.

Day 12 Trek from Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka

About six hours trek will take us to Rajgang Kharka from Ganes Himal base camp. We will be walking along the descent and narrow trail with alpine grass on both sides. We stay overnight in Rajgang Kharka.

Day 13 Rajgang Kharka to Chalise (2000 m.) which takes about six hours.

After breakfast in Rajgang Kharka, we trek for about six hours on the trail the goes downhill all the way to Chalise. Pass through the forest until Hindung, and after crossing it, you will find some Tamang villages.

Day 14 Chalise to Laba village (1750 m.)

About six hours of trek will take you to the village of Laba from Chalise. First, we start on the downhill trail that leads us to Laba Besi and from there trek uphill to Laba village. We will be passing through Tamang villages, pine forests, green hills, and farming terraces. Laba is a beautiful Gurung village which has its own culture and tradition.

Day 15 Laba village to Manyang Bhanjyang (2934 m.)

Today, we follow the trail pass through the forest of rhododendron and pine. Various species of birds and wild animals inhabited these forests. The route goes uphill to Manya Bhanjyang. You can see a glimpse of Ganesh Himal from here. Manyang Bhanjyang is a ridge which is surrounded by forests and grassland. Also, this is a perfect campsite for camping as there are rhododendron and oak forests all around. 

Day 16 Manyang Bhanjyang to Majhgaun (2200 m.)

The trek to Majhgaun starts on gradual descent path, and then the trail goes steep uphill, but toward the ending point, it goes again downward. Along the way, you will be walking through the forests of rhododendron and oak, farming terraces, villages, and green hills. The views of the Manaslu range, Buddha peak, and the other Himalayas make this trek more exciting. You will see local people being engaged in farming in this area.

Day 17 Trek from Majhgaun to Budathum

In today's trek, you walk along the trail passing through forests, villages, streams, and terraces. It will take around five hours to reach Budathum. Dominated by the Newar community, Budathum is a small town with an old local market. You can enjoy the fantastic views of Manaslu range at a far distance from here.

Day 18 Budathum to Arughat Bazaar (500 m.) and drive to Kathmandu

Trek to Arughat Bazaar starts on the descent path passing through streams, farming terraces, villages, and small forests. The trail goes along the riverbank of Budhi Gandi River most of the time. On your way, you will see small shops, high school, tea houses, health post, and lodges. From Arughat Bazaar, we board the vehicle to reach Kathmandu. Enjoy the view of mountains, landscapes, and the lifestyle of people engaged in daily life activities. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, we will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 19 Departure from Kathmandu

With the hope of seeing you again, we drive you to Kathmandu International Airport for your flight back home. We think this is definitely not your last visit to Nepal, and if you plan to come again in this mountain country, then please let us know. Have a safe flight!
