Situated at the southeast of Kathmandu valley, Phulchowki hill is popular in terms of vegetation near the Kathmandu Valley. A little bit crowded during winter as many people from the city visit there to enjoy the snow. Phulchowki day hiking tour offers a majestic Himalayan view, wild animals, birds, and mixed cultures. If you want to take a longer route, then go to Namobuddha and hike to Phulchoki. But there is a short way from Godawari if you are in a hurry and want a short walk. On the top of the Phulchowki Hill, you will find the temple of Phulchowki Mai, a guardian goddess. You will get a chance to watch a month-long annual religious festival held at the shrine if you visit this place in March- April. Apart from that, you can participate in some other major festivals if you happen to hike in full moon day in July and August every year. Along with these, from the top of Phulchoki Hill, you will get an eye-pleasing view of Kathmandu Valley, typical Nepalese villages, and green hills.
